Help I am still on 4.0.2 =( How do I get Jellybean?

Azel

Lurker
I have a Galaxy Nexus from WIND Mobile in Canada. So far all I've gotten was a 4.0.2 update months ago. I have tried disabling Google Services Framework and clearing cache/checking update for a week now and still have nothing. It seems like a lot of people have Jellybean already, so how can I get it :)

Thanks!!

Baseband Version: I9250UGLA4
Kernel Version: 3.0.8-gaaa2611
Build NumberICL52F.I9250UGLA4

Only phones that are takju/yakju are getting the update to Jellybean (you can find out what your phone is in the Maps app in Settings>About>Device. My guess is that your phone has a different software build (possibly yakjuxw) and that it has to be updated by your carrier or Samsung.

Some people here have successfully flashed their non-yakju GSM Nexus to yakju and then successfully downloaded Jellybean -- there are other threads that will explain how (such as this one).

chiranv, welcome to AF! Check out what is posted above you. I merged your thread as I feel you have the same issue as the poster in the thread I merged yours into. Thanks for joining up! :)

In the instructions on the other link, there is a link to a USB driver but that link is broken. Any suggestions on finding what we should be looking for?

Thanks,
A.

You can use the link at the bottom of this page, make sure that "Manuals & Downloads" and then "Software" is selected. Though this driver is on the page for the Verizon (CDMA) version of the Nexus, it works on the GSM Nexus (i9250) as well.
