Help I am stupid and need help.

I have had a look around the forum but can't find what the answer I am looking for, so hopefully someone will be able to help me.

This morning when I turned my desire on HTC sense wouldn't load up so I just kept getting the force close message. I managed to find out to reset the phone which I did and I lost all my phone numbers (but thats the least of my problems). The phone then said it needed a software update, which I then done.

But my problem is I used to have my hotmail account connected to my phone so when I got an email i could access them straight away, but I can't seem to set this up now. Please can someone please explain how to do this?

after reading through this forum I can see I am not not using the phone to its full capablilties, which I now intend to do by using this forum to learn more.

So all suggestions on what I should be using on my phone will be gratefully received

When you first set up the phone you should have been prompted for a google account.

If you go into settings, accounts & sync you should see if this account is still set up, if not you should be able to add it from here.

You mentioned hotmail - I get my Hotmail emails via my google mail account, I assume you had something like this set up?

Thanks for the reply, I managed to sort this problem out last night.

I have now got my hotmail email account set up tto the main mail account
