Root I cannot access Recovery Window

Exactly as I stated on the title. I am unable to access the Recovery window on my rooted evo 2.3. When I try to access it, it goes to the "Evo 4G" White screen and stays there. It's been like this a few days after I first rooted it when the root for 2.3 came out. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am sorry if there is already another thread made with the same problem, but I could not find it.

Pull Battery

Press and hold power and volume down buttons

Insert battery

You should not see htc at all, it should go right to the bootloader.


Or are you saying that when you get to the bootloader and choose recovery it just sits there?

If so, just reflash amon ra.

like forbodingangel said try and change recoveries to amon ra and see if that works. can you boot up to a working phone?
