Help i cannot send files using blutooth on my LG P500

hi there! im new here... Just recently bought this LG P500 and im lovin it. Though one thing im having problem is that i cannot send files using blutooth with my LG P500... Can someone help? I badly need some help.. Im new to this android thingy... Please, please, please help me... Thank you.. xD
 
having the same problem!!!!..the files are not being send to other mobiles via a bluetooth!!i have lg p500..pictures can be sent but not the music files! plz help..i don't want to regret buying this mobile!!

Welcome to the Android Forums!

Check in the LG Optiumus One forum.

Unfortunately Bluetooth has never been the most reliable means to transfering files...
 
Assuming that you have correctly paired the 2 phones, you'll need to share a bit more info:

1) what error message do you get?
2) does the problem occur when you go phoneA->phoneB or in both directions?
3) hav you tried other phones?
 
Before i found a way of doing it i downloaded "Bluetooth file transfer" from the market that works fine.......Or go in to "ThinkFree Office" on your mobile, then the "Sounds folder"..."Long press" on the song you want to select and a menu will appear allowing you to send via Bluetooth......

yeah i m facing the same problem plz help....!!
CAn send Pictures but no other files like music files and ol.....

I really like this fone and now this is irritating...
 
Pls Check Whether Ur Blue tooth is in Discoverable mode
Settings >Wireless & Net>Bluetooth Settings >Discoverable > tick mark it ..........
like this u hv to pare if it is done already and still not wrking , sorry i cant help .
for me it use to wrk ...

not really... i send all my files via Bluetooth (PC to phone, phone to PC, phone to phone). its convenient, wireless & pretty fast. :)
 
i never had this bluetooth problem before.:confused:

well, try updating to 2.2.2 & the firmware version (to V10f). if problem still persist, contact your country's LG customer support or go visit the service center.

Awesome!!! Thank you... after buying this for more than one year m able to send music files.. Sounds funny but very true :)
 
1. just get File Manager/ES File Explorer (Both free on market) and send through it.
2. MAke sure both devices are set as discoverable
