Help I can't mount my SD card..

I am running CM7. Won't allow me to mount card all of a sudden. It was days ago. When I plug it in it tells me USB debugging is on, but no option to mount. Any ideas?

Multiple PCs I have tried. Same thing! :mad:
 
Found this in another thread:

Found out what one has to do...


1) On the phone, go to Settings->Applications->USB Settings and select the "Mass Storage" Options.*


2) Go back to Settings->Applications->Development and select "Stay Awake"


3) Plug in your USB cable to the phone and computer. The phone will say "USB Connected in the status bar at the top, and a USB symbol will appear.


4) Drag down the notification bar from the top and hit the "USB Connected: Select to copy files to/from your computer"


5) You get a new window with "USB Connected: You have connected your phone to your Computer via USB. Select "Mount" if you want to copy files between your computer and your phone's SD card." Select MOUNT.

I too had the same problem (but I never used to). All of a sudden when I plug my LG Revolution into my computer, the SD card unmounts, and I can't mount it again until I unplug the USB cord from my computer. I followed Stevcha's advice up until #4. At that point I so no choice to allow me to select to "copy files to/from your computer". My SD card continued to unmount. I used to copy photos to my computer all the time.

this is the evo 4g forums so i'm not exactly sure how your phone is configured. you might want to post the question here:LG Revolution - Android Forums. folks there might be able to help better then those here.

Hai ! I am new to the forum, and after browsing it I have found loads of info about my android, but I still have a problem! I am trying to root it, and have downloaded kies and the zip file as per the instructions, but when I go into recovery mode and click on 'apply update from sdcard' I get the following -

E:failed to mount /sdcard (invalid argument)
E:Can't mount /sdcard

Install from sdcard complete
Model Number - GT-S5830
Android Version - 2.3.6

PLEASE help! What am I doing wrong? Is it an sdcard problem? It's becoming quite frustrating now.
