Help I can't use a song for my ringtone

When I go into settings and pick incoming call ringtone, it doesn't give me the option to select an incoming call song, so I can pick one of my own songs to use. I do remember it did allow this feature before, and I don't know what I did in the meantime to eliminate that choice. Can you help?

Try tapping on the + sign in the upper right corner of the ringtones floder then navigating to the song you want. That should do it.

I couldn't find the + sign, I went to settings>audio profiles. Then I clicked on the setting icon to the far right of "General". I scrolled down to incoming calls-phone ringtone - and I selected a ringtone. I think it should also give me the option under incoming calls of "music", but it doesn't.

You 'll need some kind of file manager to explore your ringtones and assign it to your incoming calls.
like : file manager, root explorer ...
