Hi everybody. I need some help finding a few shortcuts.

I did a "cean slate" on my Evo Shift so I could re-organize my homepage and shortcuts. I found everything exept for the "on/off switches" for the wifi and mobile shortcuts. They turn the wifi, mobile, and the 3g on or off manually. The look like they slide up or down and are green in color. When I got the phone they were pre-installed on one of the pages to the left of the home screen.

I am not sure what they are called and I cannot find then ANYWHERE on my phone. I have searched my manual and been to the htc website but have had no luck. So if anybody can help I greatly appreciate it!

BTW: This is my first smart phone and I am a total noob, but I catch on pretty well:)

I believe what your looking for is under Widgets and not Apps. Look for Power Control under Widgets.

You might also look under Widgets and then Settings, the individual GPS, Bluetooth 4G, Mobile Network etc.

Hope that helps.

Long press on the empty spot you would like to place the widget. A menu will come up, select widget, then settings. In the settings menu there will be individual widgets to control whatever you want. Also, like toddpederson said, power control is one widget that does pretty much all the functions you speak of.

Thank you both! I found it with your help. I did not realize that there was a drop down on settings under widgets.

I reatly appreciate you taking your time to help!
