So just 2 hours ago, right after I took a picture, my phone suddenly/randomly says it can not read the sd card. So I turn off my phone, take out the sd card, put it back in and then turn the phone on again...same message! Then I tried plugging in my phone into the computer and the computer did not recognize my phone. I don't know what is wrong...do you guys have any ideas? If not, I will be taking my phone to my local Sprint store tomorrow to see if my phone is defected or if it is a bad memory card.

Well I figured out that my phone is perfectly fine!:) It is the sd card that is the problem...it got corrupted somehow. I will be going to my local Sprint store tomorrow to ask for a new one.

No need to go to the store. Just reformat it and it should be good to go

I tried reformatting, but it did not work. I think my stock sd card is shot and it is only 3 days old. My local Sprint store should give me a new sd card right?

yeah, if reformatting won't do it, then it's either the sd card itself or the interface with the card. i would definitely take it to the sprint store. let's hope it's the sd card.

This hasn't happened to me yet, but it's why I back up my sd card to my computers hard drive. When I do it, I use the old-fashioned method. I power down my phone, remove the card, (using an adapter) put the card into the card reader and then copy.
