i just called my local mobile phone shop and asked if they do operating system upgrades they replied no i have a LG optimus GT540 i would like to run navionics NAVIONICS: The Leader in Electronic Charts on my phone to use the marine charts i was told on a fishing forum i need to upgrade to android 2.3 so yesterday i went to the LG web site and upgraded to android 2.2 where do i go from here is there like a step by step manual i can follow?

By the way, I used "search" on upper right corner and paste "lg gt540 android 2,3" phrase. In our times u can also google everything.
