Only to be the first one here and no tips yet . Got this phone for Christmas and was hoping to find some rooting info and other tips now that my 14 day device probation is over. Some of the Sprint software is usable but the HTC bloat can go and the resource hogging Sense UI needs an off switch.

I was thinking of getting rid of some of the useless Sprint stuff. I do like the HTC Sense but I only get about 8 hours before the battery is completely drained. Ice Cream Sandwich is coming out soon and I hope it doesn't get worse.

The root tool for the EVO Design does have a De-Sense option, but some bugs are being worked out. The Gallery has no alternative so when Sense is disabled, there's no picture viewer is one of the biggest complaints at the moment.
