Well, not quite. It's the Droid 3 dummy model and the lollipop came from a Sony rep.
Both came into the store today. It's pretty damn cool the Droid 3. The shape is less gaudy than the 2 Global and it's also considerably thin. NICE!!!!

Yes I know....the picture looks like poop. I was in the middle of working and was rushing.

The new Motoblur for this phone is kinda stiff.

It's not a pentile screen, it's more like some kind of ink-jet display.

It cannot run Crysis.

And for a dummy unit it's as fast as the rest of em.

You do know what a dummy unit is, right?

We are dummies, so no ;)

A dummy is simply a fake version used for people to get a sense of device fit, form and weight.

........ Did Crisis really work? ;)

I was really wondering if it had OMAP4 as a processor. Thanks

The boot up screen has the exact same "Dual Core" Graphic that my Xoom has so I initially assumed it was the Tegra but now I am not so sure. Quadrant gives it around a (1989 to 2651) which seem kinda slow for a Tegra. It's a plenty fast phone though and installs and app launches seem very comparable to my Overclocked Xoom. (too fast to really tell).

The only thing that makes me think it's not the Tegra is on the system Info on Quadrant it lists it as single core and on the Xoom Quadrant lists it as dual core. But that may be due to kernel differences between Honeycomb and Gingerbread. Also on the Xoom the GPU is listed as NVIDIA and on the Droid3 it's listed as Imagination Technologies.

Like I mentioned though compared to my original droid this thing is a rocket!
