Oh most definitely will I am just trying to decide how I am thinking the 20month EIP, 4 month EIP, or buying it on contract price and I hear the cheaper tzones plan works with the vibrant.

I think the cheaper tzones plan only works if you buy it off contract because if you are going to sign a new contract, then they force you to add the android data plan. That's just my assumption though.

I can't even find night mode.... maybe someone can help me out?

Once your in camera mode, go to settings which is on the top right. Right there on the first page of setting you will see "mode" and then "none" next to it. Select "none" and you will see the option and night mode is just called "night."

Your question makes no sense. It has a standard 3.5mm jack right on top of the phone. No mystery there, and no adapter needed.

You need a 3.5 mm jack to A/V (Red,white,yellow) cord.

As far as I'm concerned...the point of No Flash is now totally moot.
The dark picture is taken with regular portrait mode.
Then the 2nd one is taken with Night mode.

There is no need for Flash!

I got mine this morning! Worth every penny, and since I've personally owned the MT3G Slide as well, this is hands down worlds apart and better in every way.

All of those Slide owning Samsung bashers we argued with for the past month will probably eat their words in coming days.

Anyways, I will take some pics tonight, both outside and inside. I'll post them once it's done. I'm PST, so it might be late by the time I get around to posting. Pictures in day light and the 720p video recording are incredible. The YouTube videos don't do this thing justice.

Do yourself a favor and go get it!

I for one am not eating my words because my words had nothing bad to say about the Galaxy's HARDWARE.

Samsung's support is a whole other issue.

I am not here to bash anyone's choice in what phone they got I hope I am wrong and you guys get support beyond the 6 months all other Samsung android phones have gotten.

But your phone is not better in every way than the Slide.

I have a keyboard, I have a camera flash, and most imporant I have a T-mobile branded HTC device.

To everyone else in this forum.......... I am sorry but spiz is all yours now.................... hey another plus for my slide!

Right. Your camera hardware is terrible, and the flash doesn't help it. The night mode pics from the Galaxy S are just as good, if not better, than the Slide's night pictures with a flash. I would know because I had mine for 10 days. HTC's cameras will never compete against Samsung's. This is a well known fact.

A keyboard is a personal preference. If you need one, the Slide is for you. If you don't, then there is no reason to have the Slide. And I consider myself very good with Swype, and can type much faster than people with a keyboard.

And what good is having a TMobile branded HTC device? Updates? Awesome. Congratulations. We'll be seeing the same updates.

I spoke to the T-Mobile peeps at the store I got the phone from regarding the battery. They said these newer phones do not have a memory chip in them, so there is no more charge counter which was a sham IMO (DELL did it with their Latitude D-Series laptops). They said, of course, if you use their wall "smart" charger or a Samsung wall charger, you will not over charge the battery. If you use a USB cable plugged into a computer you CAN overcharge the battery.

Also, does anyone else think the cartoon mode on the camera is pretty bad ass?? It reminds me of the game Borderlands...
