Root I got myself into trouble :( help!

OK, thanks. It s goona take me a little while because I rebooted my phone and its stuck again on the white screen, so I will reflash pc3img AGAIN and go from there. I will flash the new RA from the link you provided, make a nandroid backup, and try to flash fresh and see what happens. Let me know if this is correct please. If I have problems I will start another thread and ask for you! I didnt mean to high jack this thread. SORRY.
 
I wouldn't bother reflashing that pc36img again. My opinion on that is, unless you need to upgrade your radios, and want the sprint lovers rom, it's too, uh.. intrusive, I guess. You just need a working recovery. Follow the instructions in the following link to fix broken recovery. That'll give you a version of RA 1.80 that'll work for your phone. Don't follow any of the rooting instructions. I'm providing this link only for the small section on fixing recovery.

Once you do that, you can flash whatever ROM you want from recovery. Once you have a bootable, ROM, you can upgrade to RA 2.1.1 from ROM manager if you wish.
 
well what it says in the "broken recovery" link is what I am doing now. After I go into ROM manager and flash the new recovery you gave me I will try to flash FRESH and let you know how it goes. I guess this is what I need to do.....of course do a nand backup before I try to flash FRESH right? Thanks.

The only issues I would look out for would be a) apps you had moved to the sd card, if any, and b) installing apps from the market. Verify those two things, and you should be fine.

One more thing, though, did you flash the same version of clockwork that you had before, and what version is that? That might explain some errors if it's a different version.

Thanks. All apps seem to be working fine and everything i've downloaded from the maket works fine too.

Don't know what version of clockwork I had before, but I have 3.0.0.4 installed right now.
