Grr. Every time I click "Check new", the box pops up that it's looking for new software, but then it disappears a couple seconds later without having said if it found anything. I've restarted my phone twice, and it still does it. :/

Painfully Slow Download. I started the download before my post a 5:06, now 5:38 in Calif. and my green line for the download shows about 75%. I am in a rural area but have a good signal....so I wait.

No reports of random reboots - at least not yet!!!

Yep...got my update very slooooowly starting around 7:35. Software stats match those you posted. Data widget seems kind of handy as does the bigger 3G icon. GPS fix would have been nice - and I'm guessing we would have gladly sacrificed that nifty new bloatware for some Gingerbread.

Otherwise, let's hope we can say good riddance to the reboots!!

GPS seems to be locking faster for me even though there was no announced fix for this in the update.

GPS fix would have been nice

Try rebooting and/or battery pull. After I rebooted my GPS locked in two seconds. Of course individual experiences may vary

So far, no reboots. Strangely, my screen lock was change from immediate to 15 minutes.

GPS looks to be fixed. Locked on within 4 seconds after update when would always take 3 min before.
