I gots a Droid!!!!!!

Hey, I'm Rob. Went into a Verizon store yesterday looking at an enV touch. When my credit check came back and I didn't need to put down a deposit, I went whole hog and opted for an Eris. Still getting used to do everything on a touchscreen, but doing good so far.

welcome Rob and congrats. Glad you didn't go with the enV

What can I say? I saw the opportunity and ran with it! Even got a 15% discount on my bill through my employer.

The main reason I wanted to go with a Droid was the built-in WiFi receiver. iPhone's not even an option for me; AT&T's network is lacking and after trying an iPod Touch, I wasn't all that impressed with it.
