Help I have an android 2.2.2 how do I delete the bloatware

I have an LG Optimus M Android 2.2.2, I would like to delete the bloatware it came with. My understanding is that you can only root Android 2.2.1. So what do I do for 2.2.2 in order to delete the bloatware?

nothing you can do . you have to downgrade to 2.2.1 only way.

Not true. Gingerbreak rooted my brothers 2.2.2 optimus. Bloat deleted with root explorer

Are you absolutely sure it was 2.2.2 optimus? and if so which version of gingerbreak?

I have only heard of 2.2.2 ascends that are able to be rooted.

Skyjacker is correct, 2.2.2 is rootable using the root kit he linked you to.
