Devices with that amount of space shouldn't be considered for very intensive tasks. My Relay had a board that large and I held it for two years before giving it away.

My first bit of concern: is Facebook installed? Is there bloatware?

its really all i have and its a requirement to have the apps and Facebook yes and whats bloatware

Bloatware is preloaded software that you don't use, want or can't uninstall.

Facebook is a resource hog. It is especially unforgiving to memory boards less than 10 GB and RAM less than 2 GB.

Try a custom ROM. They're less demanding and can prolong your phone's shelf life after the ball gets dropped on it.

What phone do you have? That way I can point you in the right direction.

That's why I asked what your device was so that I could research relevant info. LG as an OEM usually locks their Bootloader, so in order to enjoy the fruits of root it has to be unlocked.

Android communities (this one or others), usually have a dedicated section for how to root devices.

Root comes at a risk, and of course, once you have a sweet spot for root you'll be tempted to do it to every device you own. Don't. Even my Note 10.1 is running official software & firmware. It actually boots faster than my m8 which is rooted.
