maybe tomorrow while im in a major city (portland, OR) i will do a *228 and get the update :) ??
 
I received my update! Woke up at five and there it was. I left WiFi on all night BTW. Headed to work so not much time to play but its nice to betting this with the charger plug vertically because I can now rotate the screen the other way!
 
I got the update @ 9:30 Pacific time. Pretty good stuff. To answer a question asked earlier: No the sense UI does not rotate as far as I know. I was thinking maybe you'd be able to do that but I guess you can't.
All I can say is that it's bigger than Jesus.

By the way, the Zip. file is non existent.
 
How long will it be before we see the first posts complaining that using the phone as a flashlight is draining the battery? :rolleyes:

Wait.. From what I've understood from the threads I've been reading is you can still update OTA even if your phone is rooted.

Can I just revert back to a 2.1 rom before I update to Verizon's 2.2?
 
I think the people at VZW need to make an appointment with a "Cranial Proctologist" and have their head removed from their posterior, if you get my drift...
 
I'm Jealous of those of you who have gotten the update!
