Hi all,

I have rooted my sgs2 by cmd method with intact stock ROM and Kernel. My latest version is 2.3.5.

What should I do next to avail the benefits of rooting e,g remove bloatware and increase performance?

I shall be much thankful in advance as I am new to android.

unless you are prepared to install a custom built rom, all you can really do is remove some bloat. Use either 'root explorer' (or similar app) to remove the APK's from the /system/app folder or use 'titanium backup' to freeze or remove those apps. I think you might need to pay for the full version of TiBu in order to freeze apps....not sure about that, though.

Just be careful what you decide to remove because you CAN screw everything up if you remove something the phone actually needs. Freezing an app in TiBu is safer because if you need it, you can simply defrost it.
