I just spoke to Verizon Wireless rep here in a corporate store, downtown Seattle and he told me that the phone was delayed but they finally have the release date.
And the release date is

He said it like 'official' release date. Then I asked if I could get it before then. He just smiled and didn't answer.
I asked him if he was carrying any phones with him and if he could show me one. He said he can't do that. But i'm sure he had some in his briefcase.
