i just bought an LG G2. any questions?

OIS has it's limits be it a camera phone or DSLR as a lot of you may know. I spent a lot of money a long time ago on an OIS DSLR lense and was disappointed until I got my head out of my rear and learned that it wasn't the magic cure all.

The pictures are great and are of. Great quality........ But did you try to take pictures while you are moving or while you shake your hands... Can you please try those and post the results.... I tried here in local store but the pictures were. Blurred as if there is no OIS on this device.... The sales guy couldn't help me much..... But in case of HTC one the pictures are nice even tough I shake my hands

Is it device fault or may be the camera is not great

I'm still unable to decide whether to get LG g2 or HTC one

It's more noticeable when taking video. The image is very still.

You won't get better pictures with an htc one. Overall the G2 is a better phone with better hardware.

Its all taste. Up to you.

Its hard to shake the phone and focus but i tried. Key is that you have to let it focus.

Intelligent Auto shake

Sports Mode

I have to say, once i took it out of normal mode and went to sports or intelligent auto the camera was fighting me. It looked like the image was on a delay.

So. I guess i could take a blurry picture if i wanted to,but, i ruined a lot of pictures on my iPhone just by tapping on the screen to take a picture.

So overall image quality was good when in intelligent mode... But still I expected more from OIS. Camera.. The text in background still unreadable but the focused points are clear. And the bottle is nice..

Thanks for helping me here to decide I'll surely get this device with our any delay

I should add it was at night and poorly lit.

The camera once it focuses on something close, the background will be blurry and vice versa.

Its Depth of Field. It is quite good in this camera.

You'll notice the OIS more once you try the different modes. I was moving it pretty hard. There's a limit always.

Like i said. You will notice this feature when taking a video.

I thought it would be nicer when taking a video and walking or not ruining a picture by tapping on the screen. If you're going through an earth quake then yes, you will notice the shaking.

Phone had 24.80GB storage for user and about 1.8-1.9 RAM of which about almost a gigabyte is free with no apps opened.

I had to kill the apps i was using to tell you because to be honest i don't care. I let android manage it.

Volume is good.

On screen buttons you'll have to get some launcher. You have to customize it.

I think you have go to the store and spend some time with the phone.

Just got this phone yesterday. Switched from the Galaxy S4. Love this device. Any recommendations on cases? Doesn't seem like there is much out there outside of Amazon

Btw. Ive been using the quiet mode.

It disables everything except the led light. Puts the phone on silent. Just hit the quick toggle for the led.

Mine came with a free case. Literally. Wrapped up with the box. You choose the phone color and case color.

This is my box. I chose white / white

I love the case. The closest thing is this on Amazon. Only 1left.

I'm not sure why they package it with a case for Thailand and not for the US.

It's a nice case. Protects the phone. It's slim and the back has an easy to clean rough surface. Really nice to grip.

The way i feel about cases on this phone is that the phone feels way nicer without it. If you don't have the phone, hold it without a case and use it naked a little while just for the experience. It is so thin on the sides. It really feels like you're holding a screen and there's no phone.

But then, please put it in a case. this phone is all screen so it will break on the first good drop, and that might be the first drop.

I ran mine caseless for the first two weeks. It was a little slippery but nothing bad. But I've had cases on all my phones, to alleviate that "what if" fear. Plus, the mount in my car with my Wilson doesn't have cushioned sides, just plastic arms. So I like having the case on to give the phone some protection from scuffing.
