Help I keep getting task manager alerts...

Recently I've been getting task manager alerts on the top of my screen. Usually says CPU 90_99%. Is there something I can do to clear it? I've run history eraser and usually under task manager it will only show a couple things running at a total of about 20%.

Is there some hidden cache I can delete?
 
Curious ... did this start after going onto Daylight Savings Time?

Did you try a simple (no destructive) reset ...
Hold down Volume Up/Volume Down/Power until the Phone options menu appears and then disappears
The Bionic will re-boot.

It started before daylight savings, but has been gradually getting worse... just the last couple days is where it kept coming up 90-100% usage.

I tried the reset, I'll monitor it to see if it helps... so far, it looks like it has....
 
I fixed my issue with that last year by stopping the infernal verizon Backup Assistant. somewhere on line is the explanation of how to do that. It's easy to do IF U KNOW HOW. :)

didn't help... cpu usage warning comes up again. Usually, it will go off when I finish whatever I'm doing. I don't understand how turning off backup assistant will help. Mine is set to back up late night, so it's not even running in the daytime, right?

My problem w backup also occurred at the time change six months ago

If u don't want to listen so be it
