Mount the ISO on the PC or Phone?

If you are trying to remotely tell your PC to mount some ISO....it is probably possible. The long way would be to use some virtual desktop, connect and do all the simulated mouseclicks required on your phone.

The better way would be to write a macro/script on your PC that mounts your ISO image. After doing that, its just a matter of using whatever remote control app you like to send a command that runs the macro/script on your PC.

are you trying to accomplish something special?

kinda. i was thinking about getting my GF a driod x or something else with hdmi out. and i keep all of my movies backed up as iso's on my desktop in my office so, every time i want to watch a movie in the living room i have to connect one of my laptops to my tv. not a big deal, but i figured if i could some how mount and play the iso on my phone or, stream media from a shared optical drive that it would be even easier. i dont think a VNC app would work as it would be to laggy and not really worth it. plus im upgrading to win 7 HP and i under stand you need pro in order to remote into the machine....but ya, even just being able to connect to a windows shared folder to view contents and documents would be helpful for work and what not.

Es explorer or astro will connect to a windows share, watching a mounted ISO I don't think will happen, dlna on the x actually works pretty well though. If you can get it to stream from media player 12 that might be your best shot as the hdmi out requires you to use the stock app.
