I rooted my phone. I really have no idea what I did....but its rooted and has fresh on it. I want to get the 2.1 android software.......if I just update it with the new software......will I jack my ohone up or will it work?

Not necessarily.... IF he flashed a rom, it could have been fresh 1.1, which is based on 1.5. Jenkarthik, did you flash anything to your phone?

Supposely.. if you rooted the phone and put a custom ROM on, we need to download the RUU image.

I did this, and I am back to stock 1.5 and factory reset.
BUT... im getting Error code:1012 when i try to update firmware or PRL.
Help?

The 2.1 update is not an OTA, go to sprint's website and download the update
