I love the Mytouch Slide.

All right, all right. Before I type the cliche ode to my new phone, I want you to know my prior situation with Android. I got a Mytouch 3G back in December, and I have HATED it. Everything down to complete lagginess, delayed typing sensitivity, and the whole touch screen keyboard idea. Anyways, a rep from T-Mobile really understood my issue and cut me a great deal if I bought the new Mytouch Slide. So I ended up getting it earlier today. I love ALL the new features of the Mytouch. I love how (being a previous Sidekick owner) the keyboard is extremely similar to that of the Sidekick's, and how the screen is much bigger and higher quality. Going into the settings, this phone is REAL customizable, even down to the wire. The new trackball is user-friendly, as are the five workspaces. Oh, and not to mention...FLASH! The browser comes with freakin' Flash! Anyways, I wanted to say...I am so satisfied with this phone, and Android really has redeemed itself, from my past experiences. Thank you, Google, T-Mobile, and everyone who had a part in creating this phone. hah!:D

You do realize that the Slide does NOT have a trackball AND it also is capable of 7 screens? Download the manual if you haven't and read through it. It's a brave new world...
 
Right man, but she was just telling you that you are not limited to 5 screens you can set it to seven. I think she just wanted to make sure you were aware of that, that's all. Don't think she meant anything by it.

Hey Connie what's the screen name mean? I hope I'm reading it wrong and I don't mean to offend anyone here...but I'm reading it like this clit-renta (Female sex organ renter) aka hooker. Now I'm not calling you a hooker so please like I said no offense I just saw it and my mind jumped right in the gutter. Care to share the true meaning...just wondering cause I thought it was funny.

You men - always with the mind in the gutter. It's my first initial and last name (imagine that!) and try to remember it is not MY name but my hubby's. If I used my maiden name, it would be "crich". :D

P.S. You're ALL lucky he isn't on here. He's Italian and he knows cement. Get the picture? HA!
 
lol Like I said I mean no offense and I knew I had to be wrong, I just couldn't figure it out but of course I didn't know your last name so how could I. Anyway thanx for explaining ;)

There is an app in market that gives you 11 home screens. I installed it, worked great...but then I took it off, because I didn't need 11 screens, it was pointless. Didn't even slow down the phone at all.

Haha, that's really cool! No problem for hijacking, either...I find this all rather interesting...


On a side note, I understand quite a few Mytouch Slide users are having the issues of text messages being sent and received out of order. It's literally bugging the living hell out of me, especially when it won't notify me in the mishap of rearrangement of my messages. Anyone else having this issue?!?
 
I think the iPhone can do 11 screens of apps. I think it was because it doesn't have one central place to access all of your apps from, and they didn't get folders until recently.

Maybe if you had a few full-screen or even half-screen widgets you could use up all 7 screens...
