Root I need 720P Video Recording back!

Hey,

Just rooted to CM7 stable. Notice that I dont have 720P recording anymore, in fact, the video camera sucks tool.


Any idea on how to get it back?

Your most likely not going to on a stock rom. It took developers a lot of time to get it working on the Z and sense 2.0 roms. Its different with stock roms and I doubt it will be a feature we see.

By stock, you mean vanilla (basic android without a 3rd party ui)? Stock usually refers to a rom based on the original software on the device, for us it would be a sense based rom.

720p on cm7 is there, just doesn't work that great.

I mean stock android which is the same as saying vanilla android.

Going back to a Sense ROM is the only way currently.

Since Gingerbread hasn't even been released for the Dinc yet, there is no way to get 720p on CM7 currently

Once the source code is released im sure we'll have it.
