Root I need a cwm developer

k yea so we have the path wrong we will just have to.locate it

su
cd /dev/block/platform
ls

then tell me what it outputs or screenshot it

and we will go from there
 
you forgot ls

from righr where you were hit ls press enter and itll list the files and.folders, thats what i.need to.know

you did cd /dev/block/platform

thats shown to be right in the screenshot

you then need to type ls, call it the list stuff command, not is, ls then after doing ls and hitting enter there almost has to be something there. if not we are gonna have to.find another way
 
i dunno where that came from. but ok we will do this the old fashioned way
in terminal do this

su

cat /proc/mounts > /sdcard/mounts.txt

cat /proc/partitions > /sdcard/partitions.txt


then get me the resulting mounts.txt and partitions.txt
 
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p8 of=/sdcard/boot.img

that will get you the boot img, and ill need you to run

cat /proc/partitions > /sdcard/partitions.txt

as well, both after su of course
upload both and i.will use the text file to determine the recovery partition but the screenshot with the recoveey log gave me the boot so itll be way easier and we have.that down

dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p15 of=/sdcard/15.img

dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 of=/sdcard/16.img

dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p17 of=/sdcard/17.img

and swnd me those as well, im praying its not like a samsung now... but it might be
 
playing the waiting game. had to.download them, ridiculously.slowly, after.fixing.some connection issue i wss having

now im grtting a copy of the force cwm and making a custom recovery for.you. few more minutes

ok so heres the deal with it, not guaranteed to function, and not guaranteed not to break your.phone...

if they used a locked bootloader or did somethin tricky it will brick your phone and you better hope you can exchange it

if you can accept the risk, download it, find it on your sd card and move it to simply /sdcard. the same place all those files were you send me

then do

su
dd if=/sdcard/warp_4g_cwm.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16

and be careful, if you type it wrong it could brick your phone as well. if it boots up great, but dont go trusting it till its been tested fully, if it doesnt boot pull the battery and pray the phone boots up normally

let me know what happens, and if your phone explodes i apologize
 
My phone is brick not BC of cwm is BC the root update app as I restart my phone I went to the black screen of death where android recovery don't do factory reset so no where to escape this till I get a stock ROM or get a galaxy s3 for boost mobile don't know it pist me off BC I like this phone and other members who have this phone didn't test all rooted apps so need to test the superuser updated fixer to update my superuser buy hey learn my listen never trust that app is a f up
