is that one of those pops-up-out-of-a-box mattresses?Anybody tried Purple Grid? I just saw a commercial...
That's what I'm afraid of!Didn't look like it on TV.
I was actually considering one of those though.
They're cheaper.
Do you need it delivered, set up, and old mattresses hauled away? Or would a drop-off delivery work for you? If the latter, you should be able to order what you want from any company that ships. Don't be surprised though if there's a hefty fee for that--unless they're offering some sort of free delivery.Honestly though: No one in my area just sells the top one.
Mattress and Foundation in MA.
I've never tried one of their mattresses or know of someone that has one. I'm thinking another mattress place might be Denver Mattress. No idea if they have stores in Boston. Not even certain they are still around. There was a store right next to Best Buy here or I wouldn't even know they existed.Be aware they don't do soft mattresses. ^
They do have a sister company that does, but I can't remember what it's called
I have seen a few up there on my recent trip.I've never tried one of their mattresses or know of someone that has one. I'm thinking another mattress place might be Denver Mattress. been thinking of getting a sleep number bed. just not sure if its worth shelling out that much money for one. my back and shoulders are extremely stiff when i wake up in the morning. i bought my mattress at Costco. it was very comfortable at first. now it seems to have firmed up over the years.Dngrswife and I just upgraded our Sleep Number bed to one of the fancy new models. So far, I love it, but she's the opposite; but that might be due to a recent back injury and so she's uncomfortable pretty much all the time.

so is it worth the money for one?
Costs way to much is my problem. Lasted 14 years is a plus though My generic mattress has a frickin' groove in it after maybe 18.Our first one lasted 14 years. This one cost way too much, but I am sleeping much better than I have in a while.
I never had one give up on me. I bet that was ugly. My first bag stretched over time. I added water to it a number of times to achieve the desired firmness. I almost remember that I patched it at some point as well. Likely the cat got it. My second mattress was just wonderful. It had enough baffles in the bag that you could get up in the night without disturbing your partner. I wish I still had it to be honest.Actually my last mattress was a waterbed Mattress, it just burst some months ago so looking for a whole new bed .
