I need help (Battery Problem)

I've bought a Samsung Galaxy Y and It's my first Android Phone. I was so excited to use it and I never did any initial charges. This phone was so easy and fun to use. It's like a computer replacement for me. I surf the internet through it, watch videos, texting, calling, sign in on social networking sites, and a lot lot more. I was addicted to this phone. But after a few days, I noticed that my battery doesn't last a day. I tried rooting my phone and download battery saving apps like Juice Defender Ultimate, etc.it works. But I still want to extend my phone's battery life for atleast 48 hours or somewhat closer to it. I need help, Can someone help me? Thanks :)

Hi trancytony, :)

First, welcome to AF. Thanks for joining the team. Unfortunately, there are no ways of getting your battery to last for 48 hrs - not with the original battery, at least. You might have to get one of those extended battery for your phone. You can find them on EBay or Amazon.com.

Most of those (so called battery saver apps) applications on Google Play either add to your already problems or just mess up the proper operation of the device. Either way its not worth it.

Best of luck.
P.s. I would recommend getting either the extended battery or a couple of the original ones that came with the device. (And use your phone the way it was intended).
