Root I need help please

Hi I have a metro pcs wildfire s that has a goldcard and when in H-boot it says

Locked (00W)
Marvelc EVTI Ship S-off RL
Hboot 1.10.0000

And all I want to do is root it so I can delete some bloatware

Well, a goldcard won't root you, it just turns S-off. Were you going to unlock the bootloader at all? If so, head over to htcdev.com and do that. The first step for downloading the RUU file can be ignored, just move onto the next steps. That's what I did, and I have a WFS through Metro also.

Though, instead of using their custom recovery, I used Download CWM_Recovery_5.0.2.6.zip from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way - Clockworkmod. Which is easier, all you have to do is download the file and then unzip it on your desktop and run the recovery.bat, while your phone is connected to PC through USB, charge only, and debugging on. It does the rest for you.

Then you can move onto step 2 from that guide. You'll be rooted in no time at all!

You're almost there! All you need to do is finish steps 3C and 4 of the guide below. I also recommend that you check out step 5.

I tried to unlock my bootloader but it didn't work can I get a step by strip way on how to root this phone cuz I'm a noob at this kind of thing

And do you have to unlock your bootloader

Yes, unlocking the bootloader is something you should do before rooting. Did you try following the steps on htcdev.com?

I tired but it couldn't find my phone and it won't find HTC sync

Download HTC Sync from here - HTC Help Center, it's at the bottom of the page.
Download this also - Android SDK | Android Developers

HTC Sync will give you the HTC drivers you need, but you don't need to have Sync, so you can uninstall that, but keep the drivers. On the htvdev site, you can ignore the first part that asks for the RUU file and skip forward. The RUU doesn't work for Metro, but you can unlock without it.
