i need help regarding wifi connection

Hello everyone, i have a problem in my wifi connection, my phone has android 2.2.1 OS, it can detect and connects to my wifi at home but the problem is it cannot browse internet, i can see the mac address of my phone that is currently connected to the router or shall we say accessing the wifi, my router is 802.11b/g or wireless b/g router (LP-8186)...
anyone who has a problem like this? any idea how to fix it or what should I do?

p.s
my laptop has no problems in connecting to our wifi.
by the way, did i post on the right place? i am new at this forum...

What phone do you have? It might be an issue with your phone, or an issue with the network config on the phone, or something with the setup on the router level (mac ID filter, etc). The more details you can provide the better we can help.

Same issue here... My netbook and laptop works with my Cricket wifi but not my Streak 7 tablet (tmobile). It has worked at other wifi spots like at a hotel or coffee shop ... just not on my cricket mobile wifi!!

i have solved the problem regarding with my wifi connection to my phone, i just update the firmware of my wireless router LP-8186, now I am enjoying browsing the internet especially the android market =)
