Help I need help with my clock

My clock keeps changing time zones. I live too close to the border between MST and PST
I have tried settings> Date & time > select time zone, but select time zone is gray and not selectable
I have rooted my phone and installed clocksync. I uninstalled all other clocks and anything that might try to reset the time. NO LUCK
I my need my phone to keep the correct time
Any suggestions will be appreciated

I thought I was going to be able to tell you how, but after checking my phone I see I'm greyed out also for the auto verizon time sync. My phones under verizon control as to time. But.....I am not rooted. So why not call them and ask what can be done. Your situation is a little unique, as it sounds like they have control and you need to be able to input your own values of time.

I am rooted but it is still grayed out. I'm sure being rooted there is a way but I'm not good with the phone codes ect.

Calling Verizon was the first thing that I tried. That was a month ago. They said that it was something with Casio, and they would research it and get back with me. Still no reply

I'm sure that it's probably working on your battery too with it switching between systems. Unfortunately this is yet another example of the manufacturers showing us that we are not smart enough to know what time zone we are in. When we go to SW Georgia about 10 miles from the river between Alabama I have the same issue depending on what side of the hill I am on. I don't have an answer, I just wanted to gripe a little.

I know that most people live far enough from the "Time zone borders" to not have a problem. But 90% of the people im my area, regardless of their carrier, have the same problem. I would think that across the country, there must be at least a few dozen more people that share this same frustration.
I am hoping that there is a clock out there that is dumb enough to let me tell it what time zone it is in

Since you're rooted, set it to auto sync, and set clocksync to manual time zone control...

I set the phone to auto sync as suggested via Settings > Account and sync > auto sync
On clocksync, I did not find a way to set "Manual time zone control". I tried the various options available.
Enable automatic sync - would keep the time for a few minutes only
Override system settings -when checked, will allow me to set the desired UTC offset and immediately set the time to the desired time zone. It holds the correct time for awhile and then change back to the incorrect time after awhile. Sometimes minutes, sometimes hours.
- when unchecked, immediately changes to the wrong time.
Are there other settings that i might try. Date &time > select time zone is gray and not selectable

P.S. I used your one step root.zip to root my phone, it was almost too easy Thanks
