Help I need help!!!

I have a Samsung SGH-I997 Infuse 4G and I tried to download a unofficial update which resulted in my phone giving me an error screen that says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again." When I downloaded Kies it did not recognize my phone and I had not made a recovery on Kies so When I go to emergency recovery I don't have a code to use. I think I might have permanently messed up my phone and really need some help.

Welcome to the forums abdula :hello:

Start Kies, click on tools then select Firmware upgrade and initialization. It will ask your phone's model number and serial number. You can find those numbers under your battery. Follow the instructions from Kies and hopefully it will install your stock rom.
