My tablet's battery died a few months ago, so it has been put back in its box and out of the way. Well I just changed the battery, and the top left of the tablet became incredibly hot. Now it boots up fine, and the touchscreen works, but the screen is pitch black. It looks like it's turned off, but I still hear keyboard clicks when I touch the screen. Help me please!

Something's probably shorted in that corner. You can open it up again and hope you get it right this time, or you can bring it into a good repair shop before you cause more damage.

The Tab2 is so far out of date and it always was slow. It's not worth repairing. The new Tab Pro 8.4 is really super good. I would look at one.;)
