Root I need help

I let my son use my phone and the phone was rooted, a system update appeared and he clicked to install the update now my phone is stuck at the Android boot screen... How can i fix this.... Please can someone help me out

Try this,Remove battery and put it back.
And if that doesn't work,Enter recovery mode and clear cache/data:

• Power off your device.
• Boot in recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Down and Power Button at the same time.
• Release all buttons when the Zte Zmax screen flickers and in a few seconds the Recovery screen will appear.

And it's not possible to remove the battery

So i let my son use my phone and he tried to install a system update not knowing that my phone is rooted and what i have now is a phone stuck on the Android boot screen.... So i did have a factory backup on my sdcard, i pulled it up on my computer in the sdcard reader. What steps do i need to take now

Boot to recovery, wipe data & caches, then restore from sdcard1

Thanks but i can't get off the Android screen im doing all the steps by holding power and volume up to get to recovery but i can get to the FTM screen with no problem

If you have adb use it with FTM mode
Try "reboot recovery"
