Actually i googled android garage door opener and saw that...
Kinda cool! might have to check it out soon.

I looked up that x10 security site that you need to have for the garage door opener, and the website looks like crap and its full of popups. Not what id go to to secure my house.

Although, finding a way to have an app to open your garage door/unlock your front door (securely of course) would be really nice. Id pay for one that works.
