Ok, I just got my EVO and was told i could do this thing called ROOTING my phone so that I can unlock it and make my phone a wifi hot spot without having to pay the 30 bucks a month for it. But Im not that computer savy and wanna make sure I dont screw it up. One thing is, when they tell me at a certain point to conect the micro usb are they talking about the usb that came wth my phone that plugs into trhe same port as my charger or is it somthing else I need that would connect to the port next to the charging port that looks alittle bigger. I only have the one that goes into the same as the charger. So is it a prety easy process to follow on the forum site to root it or should i look for another site that might do it for me for a small fee to make sure I dont screw it up.Thanx for any info on this I can get..
