i need serious help!!! bad issue

I have DSL 1 Mbps. It took me about half an hour.
I think extended battery doesn't overheat as much because the generated heat spreads over larger volume.
But I bet there was a batch of defective phones. Some LG Esteems had rebooting issue, so they issued an update, but my LG Esteem has never had any random reboots even before the update.

i use a wireless connection and have 4/5 bars. its not the best but the connection is in better shape then my 9 year old computer lol ><

grrr...i dont know why but now its stcuk at 7:30.... (7min 30sec)

edit: finally going again after about 5min of being stuck... now has 5min 25sec

all done. didn't work =/

i guess ill have to take it to a metro pcs store now.

if i get a new one from them,i will definitely lose all the data for my games correct? including the games i bought already.

If you log in using the same account you will be able to download them again. Your game saves will be lost though.

No, your games are with you forever as long as you use the same google account.

ok guys thanks for the help. wish there was a screen calibration app. that might help but i dont see any that has to do with the rotation on the play store =/

phew its working now lol... it was updating apps and it wouldnt start downloading new games and stuff till the other ones were done ^^

Get titanium backup just in case you need to wipe your phone again.

It let's you back up game/app data and even keep different data profiles (as in for different users )

The screen on my phone is all messed up. The rotation of it. If I hold it straight up and down it turns sideways and for me to get it back to normal i have to turn it really far.(way past straight up and down) Kinda hard to explain lol.

Hopefully u guys understand me. Is there a way to fix this? Please help!!

(Ive taken out the battery by the way and that didnt help)

My two week old Connect started to have the same issue. I found it to be a faulty accelerometer. I searched and searched and couldn't find any info on calibrating it for this phone. I tried hard resetting the phone, and it didn't help. MetroPCS gave me a replacement for free under manufacturer warranty since it was under 30 days. Over 30 days, it's a $10 mail in exchange, or a $30 over the counter exchange, your choice. The "new" phone will be a refurb, most likely. My first refurb they gave me was a dud, and I had to goto a corporate store for another, which seems to be working like a champ. My current refurb runs cooler and has the newest zvA software update. If they had told me it was new, I'd have believed them, because it was spotless. oh yeah, my original phone was completely stock, so rooting your phone most likely wasn't the culprit.

is there perhaps a calibration setting somewhere in this phone????

There is a way to calibrate. Hold the phone parallel to the floor and quickly do a couple of figure eights. Keeping the phone parallel to the foor. Should straighten out your screen problems.

I find that easiest to do by actually putting the phone on a table with a fabric table cloth, though a firm bed works too.
