Root I Needz some help!!

Kinda new to uploading and rooting my phone. So heres the low down. I was running froyo rooted. Then went to (i think) 2.3.340 and then loaded Apex onto my phone. Ran great, then i decided to get the Liberty donate. Worked pretty good, but i was having problems with my music not playing. So i did a restore to my Froyo rooted. And every time i would boot it the Liberty boot animation would come up. So i thought i could just go back to it. Tried to do that and now its stuck at the spinning Liberty screen. Any help. I really want to get my phone up and running and install GB non rooted because i really dont use any of the root apps anymore. Thanks for any help i get.

Boot into clockwork mod by plugging your phone into a power source and do a data wipe. Otherwise, you can SBF to 2.3.340 and have a completely clean, unrooted slate.

SBF back to .340
Root with z4root
Download and run Droid 2 bootstrap
flash all three GB .588s zips in order
