I wonder if Amazon will move pre-orders for the Fire and faster than other pre-orders?
(I did a pre-order with Amazon for my Thrive and got it much SLOWER)

I'm sure they will. Amazon's shipping services have always been quite superb.

I imagine the Thrive was an issue of vendor supply in contrast to demand. With the Fire, Amazon has complete control.
