Root I screwed up really bad. :(

You might want to read though this XDA thread. I helped a VM user with Windows 8 get S-OFF recently and the link to my root/S-OFF guide and the guide to install drivers in Windows 8 are linked in post #7. The version of the JuopunutBear utility included in my-all-one file is an older release that still requires rooting before S-OFF.

That thread on XDA mentions 64-bit Windows 8 drivers. What about drivers for the 32-bit version? I'd like to include those drivers in my package to extend its usability.

Is there a 32 bit version of Windows 8? I haven't used it myself yet.

Most users on Windows 8 should be 64 bit but if needed I would think the same procedure should work for the 32 bit drivers, but haven't tested that yet.

Thank you for pointing that out. While nowhere in the guide has you rebooting into that restore, it has been removed as erroneous and unnecessary.

What other steps did you notice to be incorrect?

No problem, I thought the same and thought that it would confuse people as well and cause them to flash a stock nandroid, which would not work with the jb1.50.50.

I haven't read it thoroughly, it's just that step caught my attention. I will reread the guide and let you know if there's anything else that needs attention.
