Help I searched, but found nothing M8 Volume

BigHAZE

Well-Known Member
So...when I got into my car yesterday and turned on Pandora on the phone, (first time doing this) adjusting the volume of the vehicle did not give a proper volume. I raised the volume on my phone, but the "volume warning" popped up. I had to hit accept to disable it, and then the volume rocker still do not respond right away. I nearly crashed into a light pole. (My fault..I understand) BUT...I can understand the warning when headphones are plugged in, but with BT trying to connect to the car....I don't want to see that warning. I have Googled a bunch before asking here, but most talk about rooting the phone.

I am not interested in rooting my company phone.

Anyone successfully found a way around this stupid warning. I am a grown man...I will protect my ears accordingly...but thanks KitKat! :(

It has nothing to do with kitkat, but with silly regulations in many countries, that force manufacturers to warn us for permanent ear damage.

Only way I know to disable it is to Root, install Xposed framework and then get the Sense 6 mod. There is an option to "Disable safe volume warning" (under various mods).

Rooting and installing the model would work but be carful bighaze cause if your company find out you rooted and altered their device . you will be disciplined . I would check first to see if they will allow you to do such a thing.

I can NOT root. I found a program called HEARING SAVER that works pretty good unrooted. When you plug headphones in, you can set what volume it goes to, and when you unplug, you can set that as well.

Works great with bluetooth too!
