After fiddling with the phone for some months .. Ive sold the device :thumbup:
actually main reason behind it was non-availability of K-Source .
will be using my old phone till i buy a new one .
*This was my first & the last MMX product for me*

Me too dropped the phone and jumped to Sony Xperia S, An awesome Phone... And also this is my first&last MMX,
Reason: Poor Sevice

btw aptsanju.. If you could buy a 30 K + phone, why did you buy a70 in the first place ?

PS : Anyone looking for an upgrade, go for Ace +
 
Real fact of China Mobile Phones

Micromax a70 android is made in china and i think this micromax company is not a bit branded company its all come from china mobile hardware company dealing with micromax company in india and rest outsides. Micromax non android phones hardwares and softwares are similar to china phones which can be make out very easly.. China mobiles was baned last 2,3 years ago. Coz they are not IMEI registerd phone. So than after some month china started launching their new models nameing them lava,karbon,intex,maxx,micromax,spices even nokia,samsung&blackbarry Also in their catagory. Buying low cost phone low quality parts (hardware) make the phone worth less.

Dual core..plz elaborate ?
Does this means ace2 has 800+800 processor one is active and other start on load
 
It is NovaThor U8500 with Mali 400 MP GPU
The very same processor in Xperia U, Xperia Sola, Xperia S but it is clocked at 800 MHZ for both cores.. The GPU is the same one in Galaxy S2, Galaxy Note, Micromax Funbook..
The best part is it's kernel source is gonna be released soon.. and there is promised ICS update
 
i m not saying u don't buy, but in comparison to galaxy s its nothing.......after struggling so much with this i lost my hope and sold it.............a70 has everything but we cannot use so its use less.......due to non-availability of source code

you can take mine if you want.. with setups of hundreds of games and apps, around 25 hd games, 7 custom roms... and i have not used it for phone calls.. just for internet..

edit: and it was never a garbage.. it was and now is best phone in its price range.. it has 480*320 screen resolution and 5 mp camera which no other phone offers for rs 7500.

You compare A70 to Galaxy S lol, its like comparing a lamborgini Avendator to a CD dawn lol.. ;)

However still, I would suggest you buy a second hand mid end device if you cannot afford around 12K..
There are plenty out there, Neo V, Defy +, Galaxy Ace 2 (if you actually find one that is second hand :P) etc etc

Lol you make me laugh!!:D:D I've a p500, and this one has no competitor in its range!!!;)
If you check out the official xda thread for P500, you'll be shocked looking at its tons of custom roms and ports!! We've CM9, AOSP 4.0, AOKP, CNA, GUMMY Rom, MIUI 4.0 and 2.3.7, Oxygen, RAZR UI, and also ports of Sense 2.5 and 3.5!!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::eek: It has some of the BEST developers on XDA!! What else you want?? You can easily compare it with a70 now!!:p;)
Head over and get a P500, for 6200 rs, there's nothing to think of anything else!!!! ;)

Which are the fully functional Roms available for LGP500 (Android 4 isn't stable right? ) And can the processor be overclocked? (ofcourse it can be but what is the safe level :) )

The unofficial port of CM9 is stable now! Head over to development thread and you'll know...........
Overclocking here differs from Rom to Rom, but the average stable freq. Is 727- 748 MHz, and can be above, depending on Rom............
 
And one more question : Are the current ICS Roms fit for daily usage? Anyway I've decided to go with one of the Gaming Roms once I get it :)
