So i upgraded to the galaxy S3. I was gonna give my kids the two Elites. I did not want my GMail account on there. Not thinking I factory reset one and I am now stuck in a LG and CWM loop. I tried the power on/volume down thing to force recovery and that is not working.

I tried http://androidforums.com/elite-all-...phone-using-official-tools-dll-bin-files.html this too. I can't figure out that tread at all. The part where you have to change the settings to port 1. Plus, I have zv5 software and that bin file says zv4.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here? Or is it toast?

Thanks :D

I would read it again because that is single easiest way to revert a phone to 100% stock i have ever encountered. good luck

If you're having trouble with the unbricking method post your problems in that thread tjsanders is usually quick to respond and very helpful.

The software zv4 is what it will install. After it's installed and stuff the phone will be exactly as it was when you opened it from the box. Unactivated and everything. It will even need to have the update to zv5 downloaded through the settings --> about phone --> software update. And it will download and install the update. Then if you want to you can root the phone after you update it and then do as you like if you want. :]

Ok, I understand all that. Sorry, I read my OP and did not explain well. I have tried tjsanders method and the LG Mobile Support Tool from their site. tjsanders method does nothing at all, just says "READY" in port 1. LGMS works until it tells me to pull battery and turn phone back on then press "NEXT". After I do that the phone goes to the LG screen, then to the CWM load screen and keeps looping, until the battery is pulled. LGMS then says phone not connected.

I got this bootloop before when I was dumb enough to try the Beats Audio Flash. I fixed it. But I cant seem to do the same after the factory reset.

Is there any other way to reflash the software or get into CWM recovery?

Can you get into Download Mode? Turn off the phone with battery pull. Then plug USB into your computer. Then hold your volume buttons and plug your USB into your phone. If so you could try the very first root method by jcase. It was a firmware flash method that also used a LG tool. You sure you have the drivers installed correctly?

Yeah, I get in to download mode. All drivers are installed. I will look for the jcase method and see if that works.

I would like to think everyone that tried to help, I would also like to say... I am sorry for wasting your time. In flipping back and forth in the instructions and the program, I missed some important things. Sometimes things just need be done with two screens or a print out. Again, THANK YOU AND I AM SORRY.
