Help I think I have a problem

My Nexus on LiquidSmooth 1.35 was running fine. Suddenly today, my phone would boot up and everything would be fine, but, after about 5 seconds the screen would go really dark and stay that way. It would be very faint and I could still move around the screen but it's like the backlight is off if it had one. It only happens on full boot as I'm restoring the rom as we I type this and it is bright.

I really don't want to take this thing in for a warranty replacement as we all know how those turn out.
 
LOL now it won't even stay powered on while in Clockwork Recovery. I think I'm boned. May be time to call Asurion...
 
Member Droidfirst helped me fix it. Turns out it was the Franco kernel updater that reset my color values.
