I've actually been digging around the forum for days and havent been able to find the answers to my question. I recently traded up from a tour to a droid (thank you crackberry). The phone has been/is rooted, superuser icon is in the tray, however, i dont think anything else was done to it.
using the forums i successfully installed sprecovery, backed my data up, and installed busy box.
i was wanting to use chevy's simply stunning build and possibly overclock the cpu just a lil. i dont have a ton of apps downloaded as i have only had the phone about 4 days, but when i attempt to use titanium backup it says error, could not aquire root priveleges.
how would i be able to verify the phone is rooted and busybox is properly installed? Is there a way to backup everything on my droid (if i've read and understand correctly the sprecovery puts the image on the sd card) so i could essentially return the phone to stock and start over?!?
also, newb question because i am running into trouble before i have even gotten to this step but how do i wipe the phone, lol?
thx,
nate
