Go to the boost site, it tells you many gigs you used so far and if your being throttled or not.

i hace the same problem here since i got boost their internet sucks
I come from MetroPCS. Trust me, compared to MPCS, Boost has blazing fast data speeds lol.
MetroPCS is slower than when Boost throttles.

maybe for u i had the esteem from metro and the internet in metro pcs is way faster then boost were i live maybe were u lived boost is good trust me

this original post had nothing to do with aokp though. aokp doesnt have a 3g icon remember, plus ive seen the 3g icon it should have in cm and it looks nothing like that. that is stock based, but that is neither here nor there, throttling may be a factor here, but throttled speeds are set at around 0.3, and 0.08 you are just getting too much interference. signal strength means very little on this phone unless its far too low, i could have full bars and still get speeds like that unthrottled even on stock rom, the phone is picky, and the sprint network is crappy in general.
being on my phones internet connection at all times has taught me a thing or two about their network and different phones, some phones work better than others, but none can completely overcome the amount of interference and bandwidth limitations the sprint network suffers from, during peak hours i may get anywhere from 4-60kb/s during the night when most people are asleep it tended to go all the way up to 200kb/s and beyond holding pretty steady, i live about 6 blocks from the nearest tower, on the second floor with almost direct line of sight, and if i put my phone in the window i can get full bars but no matter how many bars i have it all just depends on how many people are accessing that tower and how many other devices are giving off frequencies that can interfere
