Root I think my phone is messed up

I need some help. I am rooted and on ZVA. I had downloaded Rom Manger and made a back up and got CWM. Everything was fine. Then yesterday I bought the premium version of Rom Manager and Toolbox Pro and WITHOUT downloading anything, or messing with buttons, I have one contact that force closes everytime I try and open it. I have had 3 reboots, and gotten a android process.acore has stopped working once. Should I factory reset? Use LG Tool? My phone worked fine before those two downloads. I am also running the LG Optimizer on "My Sweet Spot". I have tried changing to battery saver and manual and that one contact keeps force closing. Please help!! I can't have my phone mess up right now. My son has had a high fever for 6 days and I am waiting on a call from the doctor to see if I need to take him to the hospital.

I've had both rom manager and rom toolbox pro running on my device with no problems. So I'm guessing it has to do with lg optimizer is conflicting with something. I would uninstall that rebbot and see if it fixes your problem. If not then just dl one of the roms on the sticky thread and restore that since it doesn't sound like you made your own backup. The thread contains step by step directions. Good luck.

Trying that now. Taking off optimzer didn't work. It says the android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. When I go into Rom Manager, I click Manage and Restore back-ups, then I see 2012-07-19-11.21.47 (This is what I got when I made the back-up). I have clicked on that and hit restore. It's rebooting now.

It finished restoring and I still have the same problem on that one contact. I have no idea whats going on. When I go to Accounts & Sync in the phones settings, and click on the account under Manage Accounts, the last one thats Sync com.android.calendar says sync has stopped working will be back shortly. I unchecked it and it does the same thing.

Well when the backup was made is important. Did you make it AFTER installing evwrything because then all you did was backuped a messed up rom.

Here download this unzip it and put it into you clockworkmod backup folder and restore it.

Ps. Of those three apps you have rom toolbox pro is the only one you'll need. Shake the rest.

edit - just reread op and I guess you did make the backup before the problems. Hmmmm. Anyway i hope my backup works for you.

I made the back up before the phone started messing up. I just manually added the contact again, I am going to try to delete the one having the issue. If that doesn't work, I'll try the zip. I just can't have my phone off for too long because I am still waiting for a call from my sons doctor to see if he has to go to the hospital.

Thank you guys for all the help!! I am so exhausted and frustrated. I haven't slept more than 2 hours a night for the past 6 days!!

It won't let me delete that contact. It gives me the same android process message. None of the contacts do it!

Download it from your computer since you will use it to unzip file anyways. After unzipping move it to your sd card on your phone in the clockwork mod > backup folder.

Actually you NEED. Rom manager to use the flashing options in rom toolbox

I use rom toolbox reboot into recovery and flash everything manually. I installed rom manager once to install cwm and removed rom manager and have never needed to reinstall it.

Never said you couldn't manually flash, just that you need it to run cwm via rom toolbox

Actually, first you should have just tried uninstalling the apps and reinstalling them. I've had that happen before after a new download and, actually more than once. I just uninstall the app, reinstall it and everything is right as rain again. Perhaps i've just been lucky. Well, almost, the other day my play store just stopped working, if i clicked on it then it would act like it was going to load, and then just sent me back to my app wall. (tsf shell, that's why app wall and not home page, although they consider that my home page) I tried uninstalling it, I deleted it from my backups and then put my android assistant app on my sd card which has backups and then from a folder of apps I have on my computer, (these files were just pulled last week for a project) I just put the apk in the backup of android assistant, and installed it from there. nope didn't work. my nanroid didn't work, I had to use the updater tool, re root, flash cwm, the whole works. weird, huh? it was doing updates though.
another weird thing since this is kinda sorta a thread about apps acting goofy. Since I re rooted, everytime i restart my phone the rom manager pro license shows back up. you know how after you click it the first time you never see it again. weird.

I deleted the apps and re-installed. I figure at this point, I may not worry about it. Nothing else seems messed up and it's only 1 contact (weird right)? Thank you to everyone that has helped. I have been very overwhelmed with my son and am still waiting on news from the doctors on a few more tests.
