I think things might being getting better for me in the Upgrade Dept

I have a family plan which currently has three phones on it.

One of them is my Moms and she is currently got an upgrade available. I got here a phone as an emergency thing and she has zero desire to have anything beyond a feature and uses a mins a month at most. This was the upgrade I planned to use for my phone.

i have a Dinc which I am scheduled to be able to upgrade in July.

I also have a Samsung something or other feature phone for one of my kids.

My step son who is currently on his mom's plan wants to move to verizon but it is not happening unless he joins my plan. Now he would really like to get an Iphone but likes Androids as well, he is just sick and tired or his POS Phone on His mom's POS service.

I was going to use my moms upgrade to get my T-bolt and selling my Dinc to to help pay for the T-bolt. I heard i could get about $150 for a pristine Dinc. Now I think i might pass it down to my step son (I would not hit him up for any money) and his mom said she would take him off her plan and give me $35 a month towards his monthly cost and he would cover the rest which should amount to less the $10.

This would give me the ability to get a new T-bolt without using an upgrade I could start a new number for him and have the dinc transfered to that and than put the T-bolt on my number and I am sittling pretty with an upgrade available from my mom's phone and an upgrade due in july on the Dinc and this would allow me the chance to upgrade to a better phone if something were to come along and pass the T-bolt down to my step son. and still have another upgrade waiting in the wings, you just in case?

I think I like this plan.
 
I had 3 different ways i was gonna get the thunderbolt. 1) my aunt is due for an upgrade, she has a dumb phone that she barely uses. she upgraded today so thats out. 2) my grandma same situation, upgraded today. 3) a co-worker, same situation but upgraded friday. this really sucks for me what are the chances that they all upgrade before i can get my TB...and they wasted perfectly good upgrades on these crappy flip phones. everyone else in my family/business does not have an upgrade available. i guess i will add a line to my family plan and sign a one year contract, should save a little money over retail. then i will sell my incredible as well, i expect to get more like $250 for it not $150. i've been watching for how much they are going for on craigslist and local classifieds where i live. i'm getting one either way and this way my line will be eligible for upgrade in a few months so thats good. but i'm really wanting to get into a 2 year contract with unlimited 4g data.
 
I'm eligible for an early upgrade on 4/29 and several csrs have told me that getting it moved up to 3/29 is no problem at all. I want the phone now, but the closer we get to 3/29, the more likely I will be able to sweet talk some csr into giving me the early upgrade earlier.
 
did you get the incredible on launch day on 4/29? thats what i did and was told that i couldn't early upgrade until 13 months after that so that would be 5/29. i know sometimes you can get the right csr and get it a little early so i will try that first for sure, but the last girl i talked to said no. i will call several before i give up though, i do not want to get a new line just for this phone if i don't have to.

Yeah, but started my 2 yr contract on 3/30 with a droid, returned the droid on 4/29 and waited for fedex to deliver my dinc.
 
If my mom has a upgrade on her account, and I am on a completely different account how would I go about using her upgrade for myself?

Just order the phone on her account activate it on yours. A csr should be able to help you do that
