Root I thought Dj05 fixed GPS issue??

So I flashed a Dj05 radio, rom, and kernal. Everything seems to be working great except my gps. I have tried it twice and it won't navingate to location, just gets stuck on "searching for location". Any ideas what the problem is? I have standalone gps and google gps services checked, not verizon. I really want this to work, I depend on it quite a bit as I am directionally challenged

Inside my house. I was just testing it, not actually trying to use it in the car. Is that the problem?

I mean before getting disappointed it didn't.work id go outside or by a window and try it out

Mine works much better with DJ05...even indoors..almost instant outside.

Mine either takes a few minutes (DJ05) or never locks. Screw Samsung.

Ok, I tried it on the road, it was about a 5 min trip and it never locked Is there a chance i didn't flash the radio correctly? How could i tell?

Check in settings-about phone- baesband and build should say dj05

They both say Dj05 so I guess I'm good there. Hmmmmmm

Mine usually locks in seconds but if I haven't used it in a while sometimes it does take a but to lock usually a quick reboot and bam locks in seconds again

Did you turn off google and VSW location?

Well I tried unchecking google services and just leaving stand alone checked and that did it! It locked in a min or so. Thanks for your input!
